1. Who we are

Akon Finance is operated by Akontec Synergy Pvt Ltd (CIN U70200WB2026PTC288824), Chennai, India. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

2. What we collect

Identity and KYC details (name, PAN, Aadhaar reference, date of birth, photo), contact details, financial information you share or authorise us to fetch (bank statements, credit report, holdings), transaction records and device data.

3. How we use it

To verify identity, provide and service products through partner institutions, assess eligibility, prevent fraud, meet legal and regulatory obligations and, with your consent, send product updates.

4. Sharing

We share data only with the partner bank, NBFC, AMC, insurer or payment provider needed to deliver the product you choose, with credit bureaus where you consent, and with authorities where required by law. We never sell personal data.

5. Security & retention

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is role-based and logged, and records are kept only as long as required by law (generally 5–8 years for financial records).

6. Your rights

You can access, correct or erase your data, withdraw consent or nominate someone to exercise your rights by writing to support@akontec.com. Our grievance officer responds within 7 working days.
